Borestone Mountain, Elliotsville, Maine July 27th - 31st, 2017
Join us for a summer retreat of five days and four nights in the midst of Maine’s Hundred Mile Wilderness region of the Appalachian Trail.
At Borestone Mountain’s Audubon Sanctuary you’ll be surrounded by a spectacular array of nature. Tucked away from the beaten path, we'll arrive at the turn of the century lodges by boat. In the quiet company of nature we will write, read, do yoga, walk, swim and share in a supportive atmosphere of encouragement. While there, walk amid the lush forest, swim in any of the three crystalline ponds or take in sweeping views from atop exposed granite crags. While nothing on the schedule is required, participants are encouraged to take full advantage of the magnificent natural environment, the comfortable facilities and the daily offerings. Morning yoga and writing sessions are balanced with afternoon workshops designed to tap into other dimensions that feed our spirits and expand creative expression. Evenings will be perfect for campfire readings, stargazing and sing alongs.
Expect to be opened and inspired as never before.
Your stay includes accommodation and meals, writing sessions, workshops, yoga and the use of all facilities as well as transport back and forth from the parking area to the lodge. The total cost is $1100.00.
If you have any questions about whether or not this retreat is for you, please contact us. We'd be happy to answer your questions or even put you in touch with a past participant.
